Arrive 10 minutes prior to your first treatment to allow ample time to check in and prepare for your treatment. Arriving late will simply limit the time for your treatment, reducing its
effectiveness and your pleasure. Your treatment will end on time so that the next guest is not delayed.
If arrival is delayed, we will make every effort to accommodate your full appointment but this is not always possible. Service time may be abbreviated to avoid delays for other guests as
treatments are charged at full value. Appointments missed by 15 minutes or more are subject to a fee applied at the time of service. Last minute changes to appointments will be
honored only if a service appointment is available for a later time in the day (of your appointment) and other guests are not inconvenienced.
CANCELLATION AND NO SHOW POLICY
Your spa treatments are reserved especially for you. We value your business and ask that you respect the spa’s scheduling policies. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Any cancellations with less than 24 hours of notice are subject to a cancellation fee amounting to the cost of the scheduled service. Clients who miss their appointments without giving any prior notification will be charged in full for the scheduled service. We recognize the time of our clients and staff is valuable and have implemented this policy for this reason. When you miss an appointment with us, we not only lose your business, but also the potential business of other clients who could have scheduled an appointment for the same time. Additionally, many times our staff will be functioning in an “on call” status and can have traveled to the spa specifically for your service. For these reasons we are obligated to compensate our staff for their time as well as make up for the lost revenue. When you schedule your appointment with us, you are agreeing to these policies. All services require a credit card or gift certificate to guarantee a reservation so please have your credit card and/or gift certificate ready when booking. You will not be billed unless there is a cancellation or no show. Upon checkout, guests may choose their method of payment. In the event that the credit card transaction is declined, the client will be responsible for paying the balance prior to booking any future services at Therapeutix Mind & Body. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
PAYMENTS & GRATUITY
The Spa accepts cash, check, MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover as payment. Gratuity’s are not expected but are appreciated. The standard spa gratuity is 15% to 20%
based on your personal experience and enjoyment.
Please notify our Spa Consultant before reserving your treatments if you have high blood pressure, special physical concerns, diabetes, or are pregnant. All spa guests will be asked to
complete a brief questionnaire upon check-in, designed with your well-being in mind.
Spa guests must be 18 years of age or older to receive treatments without the approval or accompaniment of an adult.
Out of consideration for our guests, we kindly ask that you turn your cell phones to silent or vibrate upon arrival and to remember to speak in your very soft spa voice once you enter the spa. Please inform your therapist should you need to make a phone call so that you may do so without disturbing other spa guests. Cell phone use may affect the length of your spa services.
GIFT CERTIFICATES (SEE ALSO TERMS & CONDITIONS)*
Gift Cards are available in any amount and may be purchased at the spa, by phone at 801-528-5066 or by using the Gift Card link. Out of town? Too busy? No problem. We will be happy to mail or e-mail your gift certificate to you! Unfortunately, we are unable to process any returns or reimburse any payment transactions on gift cards. Gift cards are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed as cash. Gift Cards are valid for ONE CALENDAR YEAR and must be mentioned when making your appointment. Donation certificates are non-transferable, and expiration dates may not be changed or extended. If an appointment made to redeem your spa gift certificate is not cancelled at least 48 hours in advance, your spa treatments and your spa gift certificate will be forfeited.
PRICES SUBJECT TO CHANGE
Prices and services are subject to change without notice. We will do our best to keep our clients up to date on any changes that may occur but encourage all clients to inquire about pricing and available services when booking your appointment. As always, we will honor prices of services purchased in gift card form. Clients will not be charged for a service price increase when their gift card was purchased prior to a price increase.
We are unable to accommodate visitors accompanying clients in the treatment area of the spa including those complying with our age restriction policy. All non-clients must remain in the waiting lounge.
CLIENTS’ RIGHT TO KNOW
We strive to exceed our clients’ needs. We believe that advising our clients of the products best suited for them is as essential as the service we perform. Therefore, our clients’ right to know policy advises each client on the products and techniques best suited for the client to maximize the benefits of their service.
The Spa is a public and coed space. Proper attire is to be worn at all times. Proper attire includes bathing suits or a towel around the waist or chest. Nudity is not permitted anywhere
in the facilities.
While we will make every effort to meet your requests, we cannot guarantee a specific therapist or gender. All therapists are trained in both treatment and draping protocols to
ensure your comfort at all times.
We make it our mission to provide you with the highest quality skin and body care products with your services at Therapeutix Mind & Body. In fact, you may like these products so much that you wish to use them every day to achieve your skin care goals! In the event you purchase any of our spa products for home use and find them to be defective we will exchange them within 14 days of purchase with a valid receipt. We regret that we cannot accept or exchange makeup/skin care products after they have been opened/used.
Unfortunately we cannot provide cash refunds for returned products. Instead, a spa credit will be provided for any returned products to be used on any other products or spa services available here at Therapeutix Mind & Body.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
In order to ensure that you obtain your desired appointments, we recommend scheduling your appointment as far in advance as possible to ensure availability. To accommodate your desired appointment a credit card is required at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation. Gift Cards may also be used in lieu of a credit card to hold your appointment, so please mention your gift card when scheduling your appointment. We hold this information as part of our cancellation policies and only make necessary charges to your account on the date of your scheduled service.
*Please notify the spa of any allergies or sensitivities to aromas or ingredients when you schedule your appointment.
SPA PARTIES / GROUP BOOKINGS
For parties of three or more, please send an inquiry email to email@example.com for group booking policies and availability. A completed contract and deposit are required to secure your appointment and arranged pricing. A 20% gratuity will be added to all spa parties. Exclusive use of the Spa is available; please inquire for fees and available dates as far in advance as possible.
CHECK-IN / APPOINTMENT ARRIVAL
We ask that you please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment time. We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals. However, the length of service may be adjusted so as to not interrupt the scheduled appointments of other guests. Full price of scheduled services will apply, so please plan accordingly. Of course beyond the check in policies we invite all of our guests receiving services to make full use of our relaxing environment here at Therapeutix Mind & Body. Come early, stay late, bring a book, relax and enjoy a complimentary cup of tea available in our waiting area.
Please leave all jewelry and valuable items at home. Therapeutix Mind & Body is not responsible for lost or misplaced items.
We want all of our guests, including you, to be able to enjoy a tranquil experience at our spa, whether it be for a spa day or a single service. In order to ensure this, we ask that you please avoid bringing children with you to your spa appointments.
